Open a file that I had scanned into computer.

Adjust by auto contrast to make sure it is clearer.

The drawing after adjust by auto contrast.

Using magnetic lasso tool to choose the area I want to paint.

And paint in by paint bucket tool with the color I want.

Done with first part.

Select the area I want to paint by magnetic lasso tool and paint in with the color I want by paint bucket tool.

Done with the second part.

Using crop tool to crop the extra area out.

Adjust the brightness to -27 and contrast to +56.

My drawing is done.

Before

 PROCESS

First of all, I open a drawing that I had scanned to my computer.

To make sure I can see it clearly, I adjust it by auto contrast.

The drawing that had been adjusted.

I am choosing magnetic lasso tool.

So I could select the area I want to paint easily.

Next, I am choosing paint bucket tool.

So I could paint on the area select by magnetic lasso tool easily.

First part of my drawing done.

Once again, I am choosing magnetic lasso tool to paint the another area I want to paint.

Using brush tool to paint the area I had select by magnetic lasso tool.

I had done my second part now.

I am using brush tool to paint the area I had choose to paint again for next.

My third part of drawing is done.

Using crop tool to crop out the extra area in the drawing.

To make sure everything is clean, I am using erase tool to clean the white area.

Finally, it is done.

'Xi' in chinese culture

Before

PROCESS

Firstly, I open the picture about XI that I had scanned to my computer.

Due to the blur, I am clicking "auto contrast' to make sure everything clearer so I could paint it with a clear drawing.

The drawing after the adjustment.

I am using magnetic lasso tool to select the area I wanted to paint.

Next, I am choosing the color i want to paint and painted it using paint bucket tool.

The area I am painted with black color.

Once again, I am using magnetic lasso tool to select the area I want to paint and paint it with brush tool.

To make sure everything clean enough, I am select the white area with magnetic lasso tool and clean it with erase tool.

Crop the extra area beside with crop tool.

DONE!
